We have formulated specific hot melt grades for pocket spring production, aligning their chemistry with spring pockets for instant, robust, flexible, and odour-free bonds. Alongside pocket spring production, our adhesives are also used in the final bond between the springs and mattress topper.

Water-based adhesive systems rely on water evaporation for curing. This trapped moisture within the mattress can lead to mould growth and unpleasant odours. Tecbond sprayable hot melt adhesives set as apposed cure, with no moisture released during the process, removing the risk of mould growth.

VOC free application

Solvent-based adhesives become airborne when sprayed, contaminating the workspace and operators with adhesive residues and solvent vapours. Additionally, they present a fire risk due to their flammability from unflushed solvents. Our adhesives are VOC and propellant free, eliminating the need for users to wear respiratory PPE, and do not catch fire when subjected to extreme heat.
