Casttec 43

Casttec 43 is an off-white, extended open time precast adhesive designed to withstand repeated pour cycles without needing to be replaced. Able to bond materials such as wood, plastic, metal, and foam, Casttec 43 it can be applied over a light oil, removing the need to clean surfaces before application.

Replacing the need for welding or bolting inserts to precast forms, Casttec 43 provides a less destructive, cost-saving alternative for precast concrete manufacturers.

Casttec 43 will begin to crystalise after around 8–10 hours, allowing for easy removal beyond the 24–48-hour period. The adhesive also has double the open time of any other Casttec adhesive, allowing much larger and more complex inserts to be glued before being bonded to the necessary substrate.
